Eid Mubarak in Pandemic covid-19 this year

I’ll tell you about my Eid Al Fitr in this year. And you know, it’s different from last year.

Okey.. before I’m  starting to write my story. I would like to say

"SELAMAT IDUL FITRI 1441 H. MOHON MAAF LAHIR & BATIN"

            Eid al-Fitr at covid-19.  different from the previous year's Eid.  This year's Eid al-Fitr celebration is very different, not shaking hands, not hugging between family and close friends.  usually we visit the family homes that we consider older, make appointments with other families.  the government gave us 10 days of joint leave. 

idul fitri di saat covid-19 . berbeda dengan idul fitri tahun sebelumnya. perayaan idul fitri tahun ini sangatlah berbeda, tidak berjabat tangan, tidak berpelukan antar keluarga dan teman dekat. biasanya kami bersilaturahmi ke rumah keluarga yang kami anggap lebih tua, membuat janji dengan keluarga lainnya. pemerintah memberikan kami cuti bersama selama 10 hari. 

            My children and parents have gone to my hometown in Gunung Kidul.  while my husband and I went after them 4 days before Eid.  which makes us enjoy the trip when passing public roads from one area to another, if we are tired during the trip, we stop by to eat at restaurants that serve typical foods of the area.  after fresh again we continue the journey.  if we are late reaching home, we are forced to stay at the closest hotel.  after arriving in my hometown, as usual we went around visiting my parents' extended family.  

Anak anak dan orang tua saya sudah pergi ke kampung halaman  di Gunung Kidul. sedangkan saya dan suami berangkat menyusul mereka 4 hari sebelum idul fitri. yang membuat kami menikmati perjalanan ketika melewati jalan umum dari daerah satu ke daerah lainnya, jika kami lelah selama perjalanan , kami mampir makan di rumah makan yang menyajikan makanan khas daerah tersebut. setelah segar kembali kami melanjutkan perjalanan. jika kami  kemalaman sampai rumah, terpaksa kami menginap di hotel terdekat. setelah sampai di kampung halaman, seperti biasa kami berkeliling mengunjungi keluarga besar orang tua saya.

            Eid al-Fitr in my hometown was very pleasant because we were able to visit the birthplace of my parents, close neighbors, brothers and sisters.  And we gathered at the village hall to forgive each other forgiveness as a tradition of Eid al-Fitr in my hometown.  Eid specialties such as apem, Satru cakes that we don't find when celebrating Eid al-Fitr in Jakarta.  

Idul fitri di kampung halaman sangat menyenangkan karena kami dapat mengunjungi tempat kelahiran orang tua saya, tetangga dekat, saudara saudara. Dan kami berkumpul di Balai desa untuk saling bermaaf maafan sebagai tradisi dari idul FITRI di kampung halaman. Makanan khas idul fitri seperti apem, kue satru yang tidak kami jumpai jika merayakan idul FITRI di jakarta.

             In 2020 we celebrated Eid al-Fitr while the Pandemic covid-19. Pandemic was very different.  no Eid prayer in the field as usual.  We carry out Eid prayer at each residence according to the government's recommendation.  Forgive each other only via video calls.  only a few of the usual guests who come home to stay in touch.  but we are still happy because our brothers are still given health by God.  I hope this pandemic will pass quickly.  and we can live a normal life as before. 

Tahun 2020 kami merayakan idul fitri  disaat pandemic covid-19 sangat berbeda. tidak ada sholat idul dilapangan seperti biasanya. kami melaksanakan sholat idul di kediaman masing masing sesuai anjuran pemerintah. saling bermaaf maafan hanya via video call. hanya sedikit dari biasanya tamu yang datang kerumah untuk bersilaturahmi. namun kami tetap bahagia karena saudara saudara kami masih diberikan kesehatan oleh Allah . semoga pandemic ini cepat berlalu. dan kami dapat menjalankan kehidupan yang normal seperti sediakala.
