         Major Spencer needed to make a call from a public phone. First, he had to find a phone. He looked around but he didn't see one. Next, he walked down to the corner and looked for a phone there.

He didn't see one. He only saw a bus stop there. Finally, Major Spencer walked into the store at the corner and asked, "is there a phone I can use ?" The clerk said, "sure you can use this one, Just dial 9 to get an outside line ."

      5 - 4 = 1

The answer is  4+66+4+1 = 71

2. a. Multiply that number by 2

    12 X 2 = 24

b. Add 56 that number

     56 + 16 = 72

c. Divide that number by 2

     20 : 2 = 10

d. Substrac your number from the last answer

      25 - 10 = 15

The answer is  24+72+10+15 = 121

3. Compare the answers in 1 and 2 . Write a sentence about them.

The result of point 1 = 71

The result of point  2 = 121

So the result from point 2 is greater than point 1
